Succulent Pumpkin Time!

Hi all,

Pumpkin Types:

I aim for various colors of pumpkins (orange, white, nutty brown, green/blue) and the Cinderella style shaped pumpkins with no rot or damage on the pumpkin. I source them from local Broad Brook growers in my town (support local!). This has been a good pumpkin year from what I can tell when visiting grower sites recently. I sometimes select ones with a unique flare, like number 7 below is tilted, this makes for an interesting touch!

Number 9 is taken – Call to select your’s today!

Sizes:

These shown here are 12″ in diameter in most cases (considered a large or medium pumpkin size). They make a nice centerpiece on a table. (If you require smaller pumpkins, lead time is required, so be sure to ask soon). However, supplies are limited so as they go – so do the plants!

Prices:

The completed Succulent Pumpkin Centerpiece with plants and dry fall décor for the large to medium sizes start at $65 and up. Anything larger than the 12″ diameter starts at $75 and up. Remember, the plants are keepers for the long haul – and small 2″ pots are provided for you to transfer them into later when you wish to stop displaying your amazing succulent pumpkin centerpiece at home.

What’s included:

Several live succulents type plants, moss topped, fall décor added, and embellishments (maybe a ribbon). This year’s color themes are neutral white/brown/ivory or fall colors of reds, yellows, oranges, and greens. Each pumpkin is completely unique and a creation, rather than cookie cutter. Halloween themes are an option as well (think small black décor spiders and glitter balls on top with the plants).

Ivory, Beige, Taupe, Browns – One of the topping theme options this season

Pick up Required:

Pick up at my Broad Brook (East Windsor), CT location is required. We set an appointment that works for you! Starting today (10/4/2022), I am making them and will be around this weekend as well.

Care:

Care instructions are provided with each pumpkin creation. The plants may be removed after the fall season is over to keep growing at home. The pumpkins last a long time usually (months), but most people disassemble the plants from the top to keep growing the plants when they are ready to transition off the pumpkin. Small 2″ pots are provided to put your plants into when you are ready.

Display:

These are best displayed indoors. Outdoor locations after our Connecticut fall frost (usually early to mid October) will kill the tender succulents on the top of the pumpkin. Best to display by a window if possible and in a semi-warm location versus a cold drafty location. Tips are provided with the Care Instructions documentation with each pumpkin creation.
