Yesterday, I decided to create a prototype of my first fall wreath. I like it very much for the first try and focused on all things fall – mini real cones, yellow faux leaves, red faux apples, walnuts and more.
Live succulent plants are added here and there as accents, which may be removed later to put into pots to keep growing. Tucked in places are glitter accents and other elements to bring it together.
The faux red apples in different tones give it a feeling of fall colors and Thanksgiving ahead. I just couldn’t decide if I should fill the top part where the fabric hanger is because I like the look of the live moss showing as well. Guess I have to think on that more. Let me know your thoughts!
It may be hung indoors or out in a protected location. So long as there are no harsh freezes, this will last for months. I’m pleased with my first try and welcome anyone who wishes to have me make one similar to this style as a custom order. This one shown is a 12″ diameter. Fall wreath prices start at $45 and up depending on sizes of the wreaths.
And as a reminder, I’ve made unique wreaths, such as the peace sign wreath shown above. Hung outdoors with added solar twinkle lights makes a long lasting accent all season.
And as noted, custom holiday wreaths with a mix of wonderful fresh greens are created every November and December by order. Each is hand-made and all are fresh.
