Holiday Globes and Terrariums

Some creations happen rather organically. I decide to give something a try, which was the case the first time I made some hanging globes with succulent plants and holiday touches. Each has several plants and mini embellishments that are just adorable. They may be hung inside the home for enjoyment and make wonderful gifts. Sometimes I create a set of an idea, such as this one I completed recently.

The wreath with small glass ornaments is a new creation. I wanted to fill this small 5″ wreath with glass ornaments and berries. I had a look in my mind and this is how it finished. Then I thought how adorable would it be to have matching globes. A gift trio.

This little mouse is too adorable! The globe also has a live succulent plant and other small decorative embellishments. I am still trying to decide if I should add one more touch to this globe, maybe a ribbon to match the other red and white dot ribbons of the trio set.

The hanging globe is about 3×5″ size, the wreath is 5″ size, and the globe I think it 6″ (need to check on that!)

This trio set would be such a wonderful gift for someone. I could see the wreath in a bathroom where there is sufficient light for the succulent plants attached. It took a lot of time to make that wreath – such delicate but very therapeutic work. The plants could be removed after the holiday season is over to put into small pots to keep growing.
