Succulent Hanging Baskets (5/9/20)-Cancelled

With the announcement of CT Schools closing till May 20th, it was the signal to me to cancel this workshop for early May.

Last year’s workshops were so much fun and everyone’s plants in their baskets performed really well for the “entire” season. Many sent me photos to show me how much the plants grew all summer and into fall. It was a fun year and I can’t resist offering this workshop again – with some new features.

New Basket Style

This season – a new twist – the hanging basket is a little larger (10.5″ diameter) and comes in one of 5 color choices – also, it is suitable for indoors or outdoors, so this means, you have a choice to display it outside or on a special place in your home.

Mother’s Day Special

Additionally, in honor of Mother’s Day (or for Grand Parents), you may bring one child with you to make a small pot with baby succs. A small plastic or peat 3″ pot will be provided to the child to create while you make your beautiful hanging basket.
Note: Child must be 8 years or older.

Description:

Make your own Succulent Hanging Basket with a mix of succulents. The succulents included will be (2) succulents and (1) hanging succulent or a special feature succulent. Some small cute baby succs will be provided as well, along with the 10.5″ plastic round rattan style hanging basket with soil, fertilizer, and tools to use in the classroom.

Additional succulents will be available for purchase if you wish to add more to your hanging basket design. Child will be provided with a small peat or plastic 3″ pot and one succulent and you may add more by purchase and/or bring your own child pot if you wish to make a larger sized pot (additional fees apply if using larger quantities of soil, etc.) Ask if you have questions. Also, this workshop will be “streamlined” to getting right into making our creations and having fun.

The hanging basket this year has a rattan pattern, round shape, and comes in white, red, lime green, soft gray, or brown. These baskets will last for years and have a special drain system with drain plug, etc. Cathy Testa will go over how to use these baskets the right way to maintain the health of your succulents.

Registered attendees will be sent photo of the hanging basket so they may select their color in advance (first come first serve on color choices).
