Here’s this year’s scoop!

It’s the 8TH ANNUAL KB/WREATH WORKSHOP – Wow! We have been offering this festive workshop, where you may make one item of your choice with fresh greenery, for 8 years. And each year, the creations everyone makes gets better.

The fee is the same for the one item you wish to make unless it is a larger item. For example, the horse head profile wreath or larger wreaths are more, because you are using more greens for larger items. We will list exact differences later in the season, but to confirm your seat, submit your payment early. It is $40 pp (plus CT Sales Tax.)

Tax is collected at the workshop if paid via EventBrite credit card option online. Due to additional fees added on the Eventbrite links for credit card payments, we collect the tax separately, or you may include the CT Sales Tax on any checks if you choose to pay by check.

Registration Fee:

The fee for this workshop is $40 pp x 6.35% sales tax of $2.54 = $42.54. (Checks may be made out to Cathy T’s Landscape Designs and mailed to 72 Harrington Road, Broad Brook, CT 06016).

Seats are limited to 35 people for the first workshop on Saturday. It is a big workshop with lots of attendees – and we can get loud due to the holiday spirit which enters the workshop space – just like elves in Santa’s workshop. If you prefer a more formal quiet atmosphere, we offer a weeknight workshop following the Saturday workshop date.

The Details:

The fresh greens are a mix of many. Holly, balsam, yew, fir, lemon leaf, cypress, boxwood, and more. It is dependent on availability each year. As we get closer to the season, more details will be posted on the greens we plan to offer. Each year, we offer a specialty florist type green as well. Your fee includes enough greens for the item you wish to make, plus the mechanics. You may bring your own decor (ribbons, ornaments, etc.) to adorn your holiday masterpiece. Each confirmed (paid) attendee receives more details as we get closer to the winter holiday season.

The Saturday Date:

As noted, it is festive on Saturday. Attendees contribute a small appetizer. Some beverages are included. You may stay as long as you like that day – some people stay longer, others finish their creation early. You will need a minimum of 2 hours.

The Wednesday Date:

The week night option is a much quieter session with more one-on-one instruction. No food or beverages are provided. However, you still make a gorgeous piece and we have fun. You may find this date is more convenient to your schedule.

The Snow Date:

Note, in the event of a major snow storm, the event is held the next day.
