What is this demo about:

Cathy Testa of Container Crazy CT will demonstrate basic seed starting techniques she has used over the years to grow various unique plants. This demo will go over the soil types, various new sustainable media, unique ways to grow seed, tools, and techniques for success, including types which grow well in hanging baskets and other unique containers. It is never too late to start seeds to have a mix all season. This is a “basic” demo for beginners.

Seed Packets Available:

Amazing seed packets from Hudson Valley SEED LIBRARY will be available for purchase following the demo. These are seeds Cathy Testa has used over the years, and they certainly know how to combine “Nature with Art” – which is Container Crazy CT’s style. Their seed packets showcase various artists works and their seed quality is excellent.

Note: This session is not specific to “vegetables” although we may cover some of the more unique veggies Cathy Testa has grown over the years. It will discuss a mix of seeds for annuals, tropicals, and perennials — a few unusual type of plants.

To Register:

Stop by the store, use the Event Bright links on this site, or mail payment to Cathy Testa. See also the REGISTRATION link on this site.
