Information:
Hanging succulent balls are another new method to adore and showcase succulents growing in popularity. These types of plants are very drought tolerant, tough, and last. After showing them off hanging outdoors at your home, you may store them indoors as they go dormant and revive them the following season. The spheres may be used other decorative ways as well – for example set on a topiary style pot for succulent elegance.
Plant Types:
The type and variety of succulents to be made available will be based on best of selection in June. We plan to offer various succulents, such as aeoniums, aloes, crassulas, jades, stonecrops, echeverias, delosperma, and sempervivums – just to name a few. Registered attendees will be notified in advance of the plant variety and mix. Some of the plants are hardy while others are frost sensitive. You will learn about each in this workshop.
Why June?
Succulent spheres may be created virtually any time of year, however June fits perfectly as the small plants get into their ball location and grow rapidly during the summer months with the weather conditions suited for their plant type. Additionally, it will provide you with the time to enjoy it all the way into October before frost. However, if June dates do not fit your schedules, please do not hesitate to request a different date or a private party.
